Ever had something done to you from someone, a friend, a brother, a sister that happened so long ago but it still sticks in your mind.  You may have even forgiven them at the time but the memory is still there.

God not only shows us His great mercy by forgiving our transgressions when we come to Him in repentance through Christ Jesus, but He also forgets our sins.  All that was done is now erased from His mind by the blood of Jesus. 

With this kind of forgiveness shouldn't we try harder not to sin?
