In time of grief for loved ones in Christ who have passed on we need to pause to reflect on God's Word here in 1 Corinthians 15:52 and not become weary. 

By faith we can stand on the promise God has given us that we as Christians through Christ Jesus will one day be raised again joining those living (who will be transformed).  Together we will be in the presence of Living God praising Him in glory and we will live forever.

Knowing this may not ease the pain we are feeling.  But with the knowledge and faith we have through Christ Jesus, we now have hope knowing that death is not the end, it has been defeated.

"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?" 1 Corinthians 15:55 KJV
