As God knew Jeremiah before he was even formed, He has known everyone of us.  And so, God chose us to be reconciled with Him through his Son Jesus Christ so we may per take of eternity with Him.  This was out of His love for us, His children.

We had no means of this reconciliation by our works.  Only through the gift of His Son could we receive forgiveness.  Only by His Love.
